New to the trade (SQE)
An SQE pass qualifies you for a salesperson licence. Part 1's 40 independent questions are the bulk — drill the ordinance and circulars before the 20 Oct sitting.
Upgrading S to E licence
Only an EAQE pass qualifies you for an estate agent (individual) licence. Case questions carry double the weight (20 of 50) — use the 21 case sets.

The EAQE has 30 independent + 20 case questions in 3 hours, paper-based only; the SQE has 40 independent + 10 case questions in 2.5 hours, offered in both paper-based and computer-based modes. Both are multiple-choice and can be taken in Chinese or English.
